Boscana is Solveig Olek

Sometimes life is changed by a little thing. Through wool blankets, for example. Solveig Olek knitted a huge cashmere version for a friend five years ago. She was just as enthusiastic about this gift as many of her acquaintances.

The result is a manufactory that still stands for the finest and most modern knitwear: Boscana.

Founded in 2017, the vision of CEO and creative director Solveig Olek has successfully prevailed. She wants to offer collections that can be worn „from bed to bakery and back to bed.“ What was initially intended as a homewear line has developed into a complete collection The Boscana manufactory, established to this day in a charming backyard in Leipzig, offers more than just knitwear. It is also successful with fashion that is casual, wearable and comfortable.

Solveig Olek’s main focus is on „my wonderful customers who live the Boscana feeling!“ She herself tries on every piece in the collection before it goes into production. But if she has any questions: She can always call her friends. After all, they were the ones who liked the cashmere blankets back then.
